| Bio: | Mostly what you'll find here is me complaining about my own inadequacies, reviewing books or movies I've watched or read, and quoting myself to myself. Did I mention I'm also a bit of a narcissist? (Oh right...I have a blog, I don't need to mention it.)

The boring bio stuff:
1974-1992: Born in Chicago, moved around a lot as a kid, turned headbanger in high school and never looked back.
1992-1994: Flunked out of UIUC after falling in love, moved to Texas to live with the beloved. Ran out of money, had to move back to Chicago, made plans to go back to college with the beloved in Texas. After plans were made, we broke up.
1994-1998: Went to college in Texas (Southwestern University) anyway. Got an essentially useless B.A. in psychology and minored in English.
1998-2001: Moved to Austin after graduation, worked a bunch of temp jobs, got caught up in the recession and ran out of money again.
2001-2004: Moved back to Chicago (sensing the pattern?), found a new job working for a cable company.
2004: Started a Livejournal. Wept bitter tears of rage when Bush was re-elected.
2005-present: Started dating again after a long hiatus. Had a brief & stormy relationship with an Objectivist. Haven't dated much since.
